By The Spirit: Voice Talent Release & Service Agreement
1. Ownership of Work Product
The Voice Actor ("Talent") acknowledges that all recordings and performances provided (the "Work") are a "Work Made for Hire" for By The Spirit Books. By The Spirit Books is the sole author and exclusive owner of the Work and all copyrights therein, in perpetuity and throughout the universe. This includes the right to edit, adapt, and distribute the audio for social media (Shorts, Reels, etc.) and any other media now known or hereafter devised.
2. AI Protection & Non-Synthetic Use In consideration of the Talent’s rights, By The Spirit Books agrees to the following restrictive covenants:

No AI Training: The Work shall not be used as a dataset to train, "fine-tune," or develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence models.

No Voice Cloning: Client shall not use the Work to create a synthetic voice clone or digital replica of the Talent’s voice.

Human-Centric Use: The audio is intended for use as a captured performance of the provided script only.
3. Payment & Buy-Out Payment of $50.00 constitutes a full "buy-out" of all rights. Talent waives any right to royalties, residuals, or additional compensation regardless of the Work’s performance, view count, or commercial success.
4. Name & Likeness By The Spirit Books has the right, but not the obligation, to use the Talent’s professional name in connection with the credits or promotion of the project.
5. Mutual Representations Talent represents that they are free to enter into this agreement and that the performance is original. By The Spirit Books represents that the payment will be delivered upon receipt of the final, usable audio files.
